The People’s Truth and Restoration Commission (PTRC)
Established in response to calls from civil society, The People’s TRC mission is to shine a light on the full truth of human suffering, offer platforms to the unheard, and chart a path toward restorative justice, healing and meaningful transformation.
This PTRC is our collective refusal to be silenced. It is an act of radical hope.
Our Vision
To build a world where truth is honoured, human dignity is protected, and people-led solidarity drives global justice, healing, and transformation.
Our Mission
To uncover truth, amplify unheard voices, and advance people-led accountability processes that restore dignity, foster healing, and promote meaningful justice across affected communities.
The PTRC is driven by a collective of committed people – activists, lawyers, journalists, artists, and community leaders across the world, united by a commitment to liberation and human rights.
It is an independent gathering of conscience for the people, by the people, founded on the moral authority of people who refuse to be silent in the face of injustice, oppression, occupation, apartheid, genocide and suffering.
